Playtime is the story of London based graphic designer Marie Kayo and photographer Marco Loumiet uniting to design playful products to enliven the daily routine. Their approach is to design products that are aesthetically pleasing and decorative yet still practical and that can be used in a variety of ways, inspired by natural shapes and subtle colours.

Pebbles and Leaves - limited edition debut collection

"We love cooking and inviting friends around the table to share a drink or a meal. Setting and dressing the table plays an important role in creating a playful and inviting atmosphere. Like pebbles and leaves our concept was to create natural shapes with an irregular look and texture as special features making a unique product. The pieces from this collection are made from a wool felt fabric which has undergone a hand-crafted stonewashing process and eco friendly water repellent treatment.

You can easily see from this collection of decorative coasters, doilies and placemats that there is no right or wrong way to use the pieces. It really is art on the table - playful design - coasters and placemats that you won’t want to take off your table.

Our colour ranges are inspired by the beauty of nature in autumn and winter and are translated in the soft felt material to warm our interiors."
